The Mediterranean Sea was an important route for Merchants and travellers of ancient times that allowed trade and cultural exchange between emergent peoples of the region. Major races and countries have developed around it's coastlines, such as France, Italy and Spain in the Western Mediterranean and Croatia, Greece and Turkey in the Eastern Mediterranean. All of these countries have the typical Mediterranean climate, generally hot drier summers, that make this an ideal place to sail in between May and October.

The access to this common sea, led the Romans, Greeks, French and Ottamans (Turks) to leave their individual imprints throughout and around the Mediterranean. Today many of these monuments are still around for us all to see and experience. Now is the time to go and chase history. We have listed countries that have catamarans available.
